National Schools Tree Day 2016

School’s Tree Day is one of our favourite events on the Marketing Calendar.

Every year two schools are selected to participate. This year we teamed up with staff and pupils of Ludmilla and Gray Primary school to celebrate the 21st year of Planet Ark’s Schools Tree Day, held on the 29th of July.

The occasion represents a fantastic day out of the classroom for students and teachers and is the perfect platform to inspire, educate and recruit Australians to actively care for our unique land and create future generations of committed environmental custodians.

We are also fortunate to have the support of Yvette Brady from Greening Australia who plays a vital role assisting the schools in ground preparation, plant selection, attending and educating students and staff the importance of the environment and most importantly helping us plant trees!

We are extremely proud to be a part of such an important initiative and will continue to work with local schools and businesses to provide this opportunity for future generations.

We’d like to thank all of the schools involved in this year’s efforts, Yvette from Greening Australia and of course Dealership staff!

If you are interested in getting involved, and would like to know more about how you can be a part of this day, please fill out the form below.
